How often do you think about the impact you have on others? We tend to worry too much about doing things well, about what we are going to say, and we forget about the important things.

December for many of us is a month of introspection, and reflection is the month that serves as a starting point. To look back on what we have achieved. We tend to focus on the things we haven't achieved and need to do next year. How about if for a change we shift our perspective to a daily activity rather than yearly measurements?

Encapsulate moments


One of the biggest challenges I have had personally is to learn to live in the moment. I spent many years thinking about the future until I realised the future never comes, as it is always now. However, these small and magical moments of connection - when you meet the eyes of a person who understands you, makes you laugh and feels that the world stopped for an instant - are what makes us feel alive.

To create more of those moments and make it a more conscious habit ask yourself: What can I do today to make someone feel good (your partner, your children, your family, your friends, your colleagues, your clients, your partners, a stranger)? Learning to enjoy the present requires tuning all your senses to the experience and appreciating every single interaction we have.
