Why I'm doing this

I moved to Poděbrady and felt the isolation firsthand. As a business coach working with international founders and Czech entrepreneurs, I saw the same struggles on both sides: brilliant women craving connection, stuck between cultures, limited by geography.

I watched talented women drive to Prague for every networking opportunity. I heard Czech women say, 'There's nothing here for us.' I met international women who felt invisible in their own communities.

So I asked myself: What if we stopped looking at Prague and started building something here?

Kafe con Propósito is the community I needed when I arrived. Now, I'm building it for all of us—women who know that where you live shouldn't limit who you become.

Questions? We've Got Answers

Q: Do I need to speak perfect English or Czech?
A: Not at all! We celebrate different accents and language levels. Most gatherings are primarily in English, but Czech and Spanish will also be on our list. And we help translate when needed. The goal is understanding, not perfection.

Q: What if I'm shy or introverted?
A: Most of us are. The groups are small (10-20 women), and we don't make anyone talk before they're ready. You'll find your moment.

Q: I'm not sure I fit in—I'm not a CEO or entrepreneur.
A: Good. We're not looking for resumes. We're looking for women who are curious, open, and figuring things out. That's it.

Q: What's the age range?
A: Most members are between 25 to 55+, but we welcome all ages. What matters is your mindset, not your birth year.

Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Absolutely! Just make sure you both register so we can plan accordingly.

Q: What if I can't commit to every gathering?
A: No pressure! Come when you can. The WhatsApp community keeps you connected between gatherings.

Q: Is this only for people living in Central Bohemia?
A: While our gatherings are in Central Bohemia, women from Prague or other regions are welcome if they're willing to make the journey. However, our focus is on building local community.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: First gathering is free. Future events start from 350 kc.
